The Employee Free Choice Act (ECFA) Blog is designed to inform readers as to the ongoing developments involving proposed legislation that could lead to the most dramatic overhaul of private sector labor relations since passage of the National Labor Relations Act in 1935. While the ECFA is being touted as protecting employee "free choice", the EFCA actually strips employees of their "free choice".

Brian Caufield is a management-side attorney at Fox Rothschild in the field of labor relations. Brian's practice focuses exclusively on labor relations. Brian has also worked as a neutral for the National Labor Relations board and is an Adjunct Professor of American Constitutional Law at Centenary College. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association in the Labor & Employment Law section and the National Labor Relations Board Law Conference.
