The Employee Free Choice Act (ECFA) Blog is designed to inform readers as to the ongoing developments involving proposed legislation that could lead to the most dramatic overhaul of private sector labor relations since passage of the National Labor Relations Act in 1935.  While the ECFA is being touted as protecting employee "free choice", the EFCA actually strips employees of their "free choice".

Brian Caufield is a management-side attorney at Fox Rothschild in the field of labor relations.  Brian's practice focuses exclusively on labor relations.  Brian has also worked as a neutral for the National Labor Relations board and is an Adjunct Professor of American Constitutional Law at Centenary College.  He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association in the Labor & Employment Law section and the National Labor Relations Board Law Conference.


Darren Rumack

Darren Rumack is an associate at Fox Rothschild, who primarily focuses his practice on labor relations & hospitality.  Darren's representation inluces matters such as: wrongful discharge; wage & hour laws; family medical leave; compliance with the National Labor Relations Act; and employment discrimination and harassment.  He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Essex County Bar Association.


Marvin Weinberg

Marvin Weinberg is a partner at Fox Rothschild, who primarily focuses his practice on labor relations & education.  A substantial portion of Darren's practice involves count and adminstrative hearings on: wrongful discharges; employment discrimination; National Labor Relations Board representation and unfair labor practice prooceedings; and non-competition agreements. Prior to Fox Rothschild, Marv was a Trial Specialist at the NLRB in Philadelphia and counsel to an NLRB member. He is a published author and current member of the American Bar Association's Labor & Employment Law Section.
